Our goal is to provide you with a long-term solution that restores balance to your water environment — reliably, sustainably, and without chemicals.
Tailored Solutions for Complex Waterways
At EnviroSonic, we recognise that no two waterways are the same. Blue-green algae management is highly site-specific—shaped by factors like water chemistry, depth, nutrient loading, and local climate. That’s why we take a collaborative, data-driven approach to every installation.
Our team works closely with you to assess your unique conditions and develop a customised installation plan.
Key considerations include:
Current water quality, including nutrient load and algal species
Microclimate and seasonal variations
The shape, depth, and size of the water body
The optimal number and placement of units
Power access—mains connection or suitability for solar
Orientation and positioning of solar pontoons for maximum coverage and energy efficiency
GSM availability for remote monitoring and performance reporting
Site accessibility and planning for ongoing service or maintenance
We also offer tailored maintenance and support packages, ensuring your system continues to perform at its best over the long term.
This thorough, site-specific approach ensures that each EnviroSonic installation delivers reliable, environmentally safe, and cost-effective control of harmful algae—right from day one.
Envirosonic ES50 Unit
The ES50 is a compact yet powerful ultrasonic unit designed for efficient control of non-motile algae, including blue-green algae, in smaller or contained water bodies. Operating at just 40 watts, the ES50 delivers cost-effective, energy-efficient performance with minimal environmental impact.
Each ES50 unit has a treatment radius of up to 50 metres, forming a broad semicircular coverage area in the water column. It emits ultrasonic frequencies that create cavitation and oxidation effects to safely and effectively disrupt algal cells—without the use of chemicals or mechanical filtration.
The ES50 is available as a mains-powered unit only, making it ideal for locations where continuous electrical supply is available.
It is most commonly installed in:
Ornamental ponds and water features
Natural and constructed swimming ponds
Large storage or irrigation tanks
Aquaculture and fish farms
Golf course water hazards
Agricultural settlement and nutrient ponds
With its low power draw, no daily operator input required, and proven reliability, the ES50 offers a practical solution for maintaining clear, healthy water in smaller-scale aquatic environments..
EnviroSonic ES300 Unit
The ES300 is EnviroSonic’s high-capacity ultrasonic solution, engineered for robust performance and durability to withstand strong weather events and challenging aquatic environments. With a semi-circular treatment range of up to 300 metres and a power draw of 100 watts, the ES300 is capable of managing high algal loads across expansive and deep water bodies.
Designed to deliver consistent, year-round algae control, the ES300 emits broadband ultrasound frequencies that vibrate through the entire water column—reaching depths of over 8 metres where algae can proliferate beyond the surface layer. Its targeted acoustic energy and cavitation effect disrupt the buoyancy mechanisms of non-motile algae such as cyanobacteria, preventing bloom formation without the need for chemicals or ongoing manual intervention.
The ES300 can be installed as a mains-powered unit where grid access is available, or as a solar-powered floating system for remote or off-grid applications. In solar deployments, two ES300 units mounted on a custom-engineered pontoon with transducers facing opposite directions provide 360° coverage across a 600-metre diameter. For larger sites, this configuration allows just four pontoons per square kilometre, offering efficient, large-scale coverage with minimal infrastructure.
Ideal for use in:
Large lakes and reservoirs
Municipal and industrial water storage
Power station cooling ponds
Marine inlets and estuarine channels
Agricultural and wastewater settlement ponds treating dense, nutrient-rich water
With its proven reliability, scalable design, and minimal maintenance requirements, the ES300 delivers a powerful and sustainable algae control solution for even the most demanding hard to control blue-green algae environment.
Solar Power Pontoon
Solar Power Pontoons are an ideal solution for water bodies that are remote or difficult to access, where mains power is unavailable.
Typically used with the ES300 model, each pontoon can be fitted with either a single transducer—providing coverage in a 300-metre radius semi-circle—or a dual transducer setup, offering full 600-metre diameter coverage.
These pontoons can also be equipped with a GSM unit for real-time monitoring of solar panel performance, transducer operation, and GPS location.
For solar-powered systems, two transducers mounted on a purpose-built pontoon and directed in opposite directions provide coverage of a 600-metre circle. This equates to approximately four pontoons per square kilometre for full area management.
Optional bird spikes can be added to prevent roosting, and safety signage is available to discourage public access or climbing on the pontoons.
