EnviroSonic restores environmental balance to water through ultrasound technology, delivering a sustainable solution for cleaner, healthier water.

Clean Water, Powered by Ultrasound

EnviroSonic uses low-frequency ultrasound to control blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) without chemicals or harm to the natural environment.

Operating at frequencies between 15–50 kHz, our systems disrupt algae at a microscopic level, using cavitation of the water column, preventing reproduction and reducing algal blooms by up to 98.9%.

Used in freshwater bodies across New Zealand and Australia, EnviroSonic supports cleaner, clearer water in:

  • Water reservoirs

  • Wastewater settlement ponds

  • Recreational lakes and ponds

  • Aquaculture and fish farms

  • Private landowners water bodies, farms and lifestyle blocks

  • Golf Courses

Our EnviroSonic units are able to be used in a range of environments — installed at the water’s edge, submerged, or floated on solar-powered pontoons for remote or off-grid sites. Our units operate 24/7 with no daily intervention and minimal maintenance.

Our units minimise the need for chemical treatments and operator time, protect the ecosystem, while at the same time improving water quality for communities. We are a sustainable long term solution in preventing cyanobacteria algal blooms.

Where we make a difference

Lakes and Reservoirs

Ross River Dam, Townsville Queensland, Australia

Envirosonic can be set up on pontoons in either an individual unit with a semicircle (300 metre radius) or a two unit system which covers a 600-metre diameter for effective algae control.

Fish Farming and Aquaculture

Huon Valley Salmon Farm, Tasmania Australia

EnviroSonic is used in fish farms, particularly in holding and settlement ponds. Fish farming operators have also reported increased success with water clarity and no effects to fish stock.

Water Treatment Plants and Settlement Ponds

We partner with government agencies and local authorities to support wastewater treatment and consent compliance — often installing EnviroSonic units in final settlement ponds. This enables treated water to be safely reused for irrigation and other secondary applications.

Kennington Lake, Bendigo Victoria, Australia

We work with local government, private owners and golf courses to install EnviroSonic systems to control and prevent blue-green algae in their ponds and water catchment areas. Our units operate quietly and ensure the water is safe for recreation and drinking purposes.

EnviroSonic ultrasound controls toxic blue-green algae ensuring healthy water and a more resilient future.
